The FH Master's Programme International Wine Marketing is open to persons who have completed a relevant FH Bachelor's Programme or FH Diploma Programme or a university Bachelor's or Diploma Programme or an equivalent study programme at a recognised domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution.

DETAILS ON THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL WINE MARKETING

Application and admission

The University of Applied Sciences Master's Programme in International Wine Marketing accepts 24 applicants per year.

Application deadline: 31 May (for your better planning, a first part of the study places will already be allocated from 31 March ) - whether an application is still possible after this date can be seen HERE.

Applications received by the annual deadline for the Master's degree programme in International Wine Marketing will be considered in the admission procedure for the coming academic year. Registration takes place via the online registration.

Personal admission interview
In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of study places, written invitations are sent out for admission interviews in June and July. The admission procedure tests the applicants' communication skills and social competence as well as their ability to work independently on a topic relevant to their studies. In addition, the applicants' previous education, professional experience, experience abroad and any foreign language skills are taken into account. During the interview, the applicant's motives for studying "International Wine Marketing" are also discussed and any additional qualifications are proven.

Decision on admission
The applicants are assessed, ranked and notified of their admission. Applicants without a firm acceptance will be placed on the waiting list and will be moved up in the event that applicants who have been accepted drop out. Applications that are submitted late can only be considered if there are free places.

Deposit
After a binding acceptance of a study place, a deposit of € 350,- is charged at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland to secure a study place. This deposit is refunded to active students after the end of the first semester. If an applicant does not fulfil the admission requirements before the start of the programme (e.g. Bachelor's examination not passed, etc.), the deposit will also be returned. In all other cases, the deposit is forfeited.
