Tuition fees
Currently, there are no tuition fees for a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland.
ÖH fee
Every semester the ÖH contribution of currently € 22,70 has to be paid. This fee is made up of the student contribution (€ 22.00) and the special contribution for insurance (€ 0.70).
Deposit
A deposit of € 350 is collected at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland as part of the admission procedure. This is refunded to active students after the end of the first semester. If an applicant does not fulfil the admission requirements before the start of the study programme (e.g. did not pass the secondary school leaving examination, did not pass the additional qualification examination, etc.), the deposit will also be returned. In all other cases, the deposit is forfeited.
Grants and scholarships
Study grant
Students of the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland have the possibility to apply for a study grant at the study grant authority.
Austrian citizens as well as "foreigners and stateless persons with equal status" are entitled to study grants (§ 4 StudFG).

Once a semester, there is also a counselling session on campus - the respective dates will be announced in good time.
Achievement Scholarships
In recognition of special achievements in their studies, the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland awards performance scholarships to the most successful students every year. The application documents are sent to all students via their respective study programme office at the beginning of October each year.
