CEEPUS

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a mobility programme that promotes the exchange of students and teachers in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland coordinates the network "Education Without Frontiers" with more than 25 partner institutions in seven countries. Within the framework of this programme, you as a teacher of the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland can complete a funded stay at a CEEPUS partner institution.

Requirements:

  • Lecturing activity at one of the CEEPUS partner universities in the countries Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Hungary to the extent of at least 6 hours or 5 working days.
  • Teachers without a doctorate/PhD do not receive a scholarship.

Application:

  • by 15 June for the following winter semester
  • by 31 October for the following summer semester
  • The entire application process is handled via www.ceepus.info.

Scholarship amount:

  • This depends on the country in which the host institution is located (see www.ceepus.info).

Additional benefits from the Austrian side:

  • Lecture allowance (only with doctorate/PhD)
  • Travel allowance

Please note:

  • Teachers without a doctorate/PhD only receive the travel allowance.
  • Unfortunately, there is no funding possibility for administrative staff within the framework of CEEPUS.
