Application and admission

Approximately 40 applicants are admitted to the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences.

Application deadline: 31 March

 

Admission procedure

1st round: written entrance test, Wednesday, 10 April 2024

2nd round: 

  • Wednesday, 24 April 2024(participation by invitation only!)
  • Thursday, 25 April 2024 (participation by invitation only!)
  • Monday, 29 April 2024 (participation by invitation only!)
  • Tuesday, 30 April 2024 (participation by invitation only!)

The aim is to offer a study place to those persons who complete the multi-stage admission procedure with the best results. The test procedures are based on the skills and competences required for the intended profession.

Deposit
After a binding allocation of a study place, a deposit of € 350 is collected at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland to secure a study place. This deposit is refunded to active students after the end of the first semester. If an applicant does not fulfil the admission requirements prior to the start of the programme (e.g. did not pass the secondary school leaving examination, did not pass the additional qualification examination, etc.), the deposit will also be returned. In all other cases, the deposit is forfeited.
