The University of Applied Sciences, Burgenland (FH Burgenland) maintains the aim of uniting the exceptional…thus, should you decide to engage in a programme here, you surely have the same goal!
Full-time: Our full-time students attend classes on site from Monday to Friday.
Working while pursuing full-time studies is typically manageable only in the evenings or on weekends. In the last semesters, students gain work experience as interns in companies which they have selected and these may be somewhere abroad.
Part-time: In concrete terms, those who are currently part of the workforce come to blocked courses on the weekends and can decide when and where to study via internet-based distance learning.
You might be studying on site either every weekend or just once a month - according to your individual study programme. Your elearning-requirements will also vary from one programme to another. For further information, please check the details given about your programme of choice on this website. It is possible to study at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland while working on a full-time job. However, we recommend arranging a reduction of working hours during the course of your studies.
Extended Part-Time: is an additional variation offered for bachelor programs in the Energy & Environmental Management department. These programs last an additional two semesters and offer a lighter course load per semester.
