Eisenstadt/Pinkafeld, 14th of May 2024 - Getting to know each other and networking was the focus of the four-day International Staff Week at UAS Burgenland. Guests from Hungary, Croatia, Georgia, Finland, Latvia, Ukraine, Spain, Azerbaijan, South Africa and ten other countries visited the study centers of UAS Burgenland in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld. The programme also included a sightseeing tour in Eisenstadt and a wine tasting in Rust.

The focus was on deepening relationships with foreign partner universities and professional exchange on topics such as internationalisation, diversity and inclusivity. Promising collaborations were initiated in the areas of teaching, projects and mobility programmes for students, teaching staff and university employees.

"International Week is always a highlight for us and a perfect opportunity to experience internationalisation@home. Through workshops, lectures and guest lectures by and for our guests, we were once again able to show the intensity with which internationalisation is lived at UAS Burgenland," sums up Birgit Rivalta, Head of the International Office at UAS Burgenland.
