Leisure guide: Excursion destinations in and around Eisenstadt
Restaurants, Disco & Bars
We Burgenlanders are known for our love of enjoyment. It's no coincidence that we offer a Master's degree programme in International Wine Marketing at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. And because it's easier to study on a full stomach (and perhaps with a glass of wine), we present a small selection of restaurants here.
The Roots in Eisenstadt
The Roots is a relatively new restaurant. It impresses above all with its beautiful ambience and transports you to Bella Italia in just one bite. You can have breakfast there, feast on Italian food for lunch and enjoy an after-work cocktail in the evening.
Skyfall in Eisenstadt
Right next to our university of applied sciences in Eisenstadt is the Skyfall restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. With palm trees and sand between your feet, you can switch off for a while in the beach bar, sit down with fellow students after the lecture and reflect on the day. Food is also available. The bar also regularly hosts events such as white nights and mask parties. Please note the bar's daily opening hours.
