The Eisenstadt Campus

The new campus in Eisenstadt opened in 2003 and was deliberately sited near the technology centre in order to guarantee high quality, practically-orientated degree courses. It is equipped with modern lecture halls and seminar rooms, an extensive library, and superb IT/computing facilities. There is also a student hall of residence with fitness and music rooms and a student café. The prize winning, futuristic architecture of the building reflects the university’s own philosophy – promoting creativity and innovation by providing a solid foundation with a friendly, open atmosphere.

Eisenstadt is situated south of Vienna, close to Bratislava and Sopron, and offers students an excellent quality of life. The modern campus with study centre, canteen, student apartments, a fitness centre and a wide range of sporting and cultural events,provides students with a wide variety of on-campus activities. Lake Neusiedl is only 15km from the campus and, in addition to its outstanding nature reserves, is ideal for surfing, sailing and relaxing.

The Pinkafeld Campus

The new study centre in Pinkafeld opened in 2001 and offers more than enough space with its 2,800 m2 of computer labs, seminar rooms and lecture halls, all within walking distance of the student halls of residence. The state-of-the-art laboratory provides a variety of testing facilities; a comprehensive range of equipment for stationary and mobile measurement techniques used in physical, chemical and human-based studies, which is used as a teaching facility as well as for research and development projects in collaboration with the business world.

Pinkafeld is situated in Burgenland’s thermal region, not far from Graz. Here sports lovers can enjoy modern sports and leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a skating rink, and a sports centre (tennis, squash, sauna, solarium, steam room, fitness centre). In addition, nordic walking fans, joggers and mountainbikers have plenty of opportunities to enjoy their sports. Due to its status as a university town, you will find Pinkafeld to be a young and vibrant place to live and study.
