The core competence Business Studies in Eisenstadt complies with international standards and offers sound academic and practical training with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Graduates are well-grounded in Business Management and acquire intensive experience in Project Management.The university offers courses in International Business Management, International Wine Management, Human Resource Management and European Studies. Unique in Austria is the opportunity to study a Central and Eastern European language and to gain intercultural competence by spending a semester studying abroad and/or doing a work placement in a CEE country.

International Business Relations – Bachelor´s Degree

“A career in International Management”
This is a comprehensive business management course with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe. The course combines business management with a selection of indepth optional modules - Controlling and Corporate Accounting, Logistics & International Trade, Management of Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Family-Owned Enterprises, Sales and Distribution Management, Management and Marketing, in addition to business languages (a choice of 10 languages, with one compulsory CEE language). Of particular note are the semester abroad, summer schools and the work placement in Central and Eastern Europe.

International Wine Management – Bachelor´s Degree

“Management expertise for the wine industry of the future”
This is a comprehensive business management course with a particular focus on the wine industry. The course combines oenology and viticulture with business administration, management and business languages (with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe languages for business). Intercultural competence can be acquired by learning languages, attending summer schools in Central and Eastern Europe and doing practical work placements in reputable vineyards in Europe and overseas.

International Business Relations – Master´s Degree

“A career in International Management”
This general management course focuses primarily on CEE countries combined with international management, international commercial law with intercultural business politics and languages. The intercultural study programme includes learning a Central and Eastern European language, some courses being taught in English, and the opportunity to attend courses at partner colleges and universities abroad. International Wine Marketing – Master´s Degree

“Management expertise for the international wine industry”
The Master´s course focuses on the acquisition of specialised knowledge in oenology, sensorics and viticulture, combined with a business focus on wine marketing and controlling. A strong emphasis is placed on learning about wine-producing countries and their associated cultures.

European Studies - Management of EU Projects - Master´s Degree

“Professional planning and successful implementation of European projects”
This course combines European integration, the management of projects with a focus on finance and grant structures, together with country studies and intercultural management. A European curriculum: language of tuition - English, intercultural competence, international lecturers.

Human Resource Management and Industrial Law CEEC - Master´s Degree

“Human Resource Management – the international challenge”
The course links human resource management to industrial and social law together with a unique focus on Central and Eastern Europe. A European curriculum: intercultural competence, some courses being taught in English, international lecturers, country specific knowledge of the job market and education systems in CEE countries.
