Core Competence: Energy and Environmental Management
Pinkafeld’s core competence Energy and Environmental Management offers practical and
future oriented training to become an energy and environmental engineer, energy engineer
or building engineer and manager. A strong emphasis is placed on offering comprehensive
technical training taking commercial and legal aspects of management into account. The
opportunity to study a number of foreign languages as part of the study programme is
unique in Austria.
Energy and
Environmental Management – Bachelor’s
Degree
“Ecology and economy ensure sustainability“
The course combines energy engineering and energy
management with ecology and environmental engineering,
business economics and law. Students have the unique
opportunity of studying various foreign languages as well
as utilising the energy and environmental engineering
laboratory on campus.
Building Technology
and Building Management – Master’s
Degree
“Study at the Austrian Centre for Building
Technology”
A unique course in Austria for Building Technology and
Management with specialists in applied research and development
and the use of the excellently equipped laboratories.
Course content includes technical building management,
regulation and control combined with communication
systems, commercial law and safety.
Energy and

environmental technology with law and business management.
It includes practical work in the well-equipped
energy and environmental engineering laboratory. An additional

A unique course in the field of renewable energy and energy
efficiency with a focus on the integration of renewable
